In 2015, my life was forever changed when my sister was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (liver/bile duct cancer), and even more so when she passed away at the age of 44 in 2019. There is not a day that goes by where I don't think about her.

The least I can do is support other cancer patients by raising awareness of wonderful organizations that are valuable resources for them, and hopefully also raise a little money for those organizations.

When I was asked to participate in this event, it was a no-brainer - I get to help others while doing my passion (cycling)!! Details about the week long bike ride can be found here:

Please help me support three wonderful organizations, the Ulman Foundation, Respite Retreats, and the Horizon Day Camp by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends.

Together, we can make a difference!

Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.

The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship. Learn more about young adult cancer and our impact here.
