If you know me, you know I'm proud to be a three-time cancer survivor. And this year, as I celebrate FIVE YEARS CANCER-FREE I want to help other young adults take on the big C like a champ! So I'm biking from Key Highway (in Baltimore) to Key West, Florida (omgomgomg) to raise money for the Ulman Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit that helps young adults living with cancer.
Please help me support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! I was a part of their young adult support group when I was diagnosed with melanoma five years ago and the support they gave me and other cancer patients was immeasurable.
Make sure you follow me on Instagram (@nikbracy) to keep track of my fundraising efforts AND our big bike journey to Key West (April 18-25)!
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
