OK, I'm at it again! Riding my bike (not motorcycle) to Key West with 30 others to advance Ulman Foundation's great cause - to lessen the pain and suffering of young adults battling cancer. I write this today less than a week after we've said goodbye to several of our dear friends. I don't like to think they lost their battle as much as I like to think they are now whole again. Yes, their battle is over, but also is their pain and suffering. The mission on which we embark for 8 days in April will ultimately help to reduce the pain and suffering of those still in the battle. Will you help me?
Please support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
