I am honored and excited to be part of the 2020 Key to Keys Team! This April I will be riding my bike from Key Highway in Baltimore to Key West, FL as part of a fundraiser for the Ulman Foundation.
I am so appreciative of all the support I've received from family and friends throughout my journey with Multiple Myeloma. This includes the Ulman Foundation. Through a hip replacement, radiation, chemo and a stem cell transplant, they've had a huge impact on both my physical and mental well-being. Ulman's support has been priceless and I can't imagine the last three years without this group. I look forward to taking this ride to be part of Ulman's continuing work - and to wearing out this new hip. ;-)
Please help me support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
