"We must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey."
Kenji Miyazawa

From April 18, 2020 to April 25, 2020, I am participating in the Key To Keys bike ride from Baltimore, MD to Key West, FL. I am riding in memory of my incredible son, Bo Oliver, and two other amazing young men that have fought the good fight, Spencer Wiersberg and Joshua Minton. I met the mighty Josh during my first Key to Keys experience and was greatly blessed to be his "Momma K". I met the selfless Spencer and his sweet family thru the BoStrong Foundation at the Ulman House. Spencer quickly became a part of our family. Although Bo did not know Josh and Spencer, I know that he welcomed them with a firm handshake and several "Thats what she said" jokes! Bo had a great respect for our armed forces and our first responders and for that reason, he would have been their biggest fan.

Bo was always an old soul. He had an amazing connection to God at an early age that stayed with him throughout his life. He saw things in black and white and had a clear idea of right and wrong. He loved his sister Rachel and looked out for her at all times. His world was brightened by his fiancé Bailey who has become a permanent part of our family. We love Bo with all that we are and our world was a better place with him in it. We will see you again. The BoStrong Foundation (www.bostrongfoundation.org) was started in honor of Bo. We want to provide young adults and their families with holistic treatment options as a therapy in and of itself or, in conjunction with mainstream treatments. We will offer support and encouragement to these families as they navigate this difficult journey. Bo would want to share his love of music with those who would benefit most from its healing properties.

Please help me support the Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!

ULMAN FOUNDATION

Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.

The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship. Learn more about young adult cancer and our impact here.
