Trevor's 2021 Beard Off Fundraising Goal

Trevor Garner

Trevor Garner

It is the time of year when I humbly ask you to support the Ulman Foundation with me. This is the fourth year I will be foregoing shaving in November for Charity, and yes, as always there will be pics sent your way throughout the month. So many of you have supported me through the years and a graciously thank you for that support.

It is an exciting time for Ulman, which provides an array of services and support for young adults (16 to 39) battling cancer.

We open the Ulman House in January. For those of you who may not be aware we purchased 6 dilapidated row homes this two blocks from Hopkins and converted them to a house for patients and or caregivers to reside free of charge. The house has communal spaces to bring patients and caregivers together as well as 8 private suites, a state of the art kitchen, living, room, music room, gym, and outdoor space. This project represents what Ulman is all about. Caring for patients, caregivers and investing in the revitalization of the Baltimore community. So far over 76 people have stayed at Ulman House and we've gotten amazing feedback that the house is helping decrease financial burdens, it's bringing people together, and it's close proximity to Baltimore's hospitals is helping with medical compliance.

Needless to say, I love this organization and would be very thankful for your support. It’s as simple as clicking the link below. Thank you in advance for your donation.

Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.

The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
