Please help me support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!

A couple of years ago a friend came to me and started falling apart. His brother had cancer. The doctors said 2 to 6 weeks! Over the next 3 years his brother defied the odds. Sadly he left this world for the next.
This made me look at my own life and the people that cancer has affected or taken from me. The more I think the bigger the number becomes. From my father to incredible friends (that I can’t erase phone #’s of).
When my friend (Russell) came to me and said he wanted to raise money for the Ulman Foundation I asked how. The idea of a motorcycle ride from Baltimore, Md to Key West, Fl. I could do this! Three days down and 3 back. That’s a bit of riding.
This is where you all come in. Please help me raise as much as possible. The people that are encouraged and supported by the Ulman Foundation are many! I’m hoping to raise at least $2,000.00 for the Ulman Foundation to participate in this ride. All money raised will go directly to the Ulman Foundation, not for my personal expenses on the ride.

The rest of his story follows.
I just wanted to let you know how and why this ride started. In 2017 my brother Pete was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer, heptatoid adenocarcinoma. He was given three months to live. Pete was one of the strongest and healthiest people I knew. He fought and fought hard. He survived for 1,061 days...proving everyone wrong. While on treatment he still went to work every day, to the gym, ran 5k races for the Ulman Foundation, and never complained. In 2019 Pete rode his bicycle in the Ulman Foundation Key to Keys ride. The group rode from Baltimore to Key West in 7 days. And yes...on their bicycles!! He had chemo on Thursday and left for the keys on Saturday. He rode 100 miles in one day. He was a fighter to say the least. Cancer was not going to beat him and we all prayed for him to survive. Unfortunately the day came that we hoped never would, he left this world on May 22, 2020. So now I have put this ride together for Pete. The Ulman foundation was very important to him and it is for Stacey and me too. Last year we raised over $10,000 not just for Pete but for everyone that has been affected by cancer. Bottom line...cancer sucks!! The Ulman Foundation always says,” Cancer changes lives...So do we”. Let’s raise some money, get in the wind, and help change some lives! Thank you all!

Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.

The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
