Welcome to my 4k400 fundraising page! If you’re here I may have told you that I will be participating in a one week 400 mile journey from June 5-12, 2022 to fundraise for the Ulman Foundation. With a team of runners, we will run (yes- on foot) from Baltimore Harbor to Boston Harbor in order to fundraise and support individuals impacted by cancer. With a long list of family members that have struggled with cancer, this cause is near and dear to my heart. I would really love any kind of support that you could provide whether it be a financial contribution, prayers, or even words of encouragement. I plan to bring a list of names of people who have fought, are fighting, and/or are supporting a loved one with cancer, and would love to include all those you are thinking of. To stay motivated, I plan to dedicate segments of each run to all of the names on the list. If you would like to add someone to this list or stay updated on this journey in real time please let me know! To learn more about the Ulman Foundation please read the paragraph below:
Each year more than 89,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
