This summer I'll be supporting the Ulman Foundation in the fight against cancer by biking 4,000 miles across America from Baltimore to San Francisco. The Ulman Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to creating a community of support for young adults fighting cancer. To make this happen, I need your help! I’m raising $5,000 before the ride that will go directly towards supporting young adults (ages 15-39) impacted by cancer.
During the ride, the Ulman Team makes stops at hospitals and cancer support centers. We organize community events throughout the trip to help bring awareness and raise money for young adults with cancer. We will also hand deliver several scholarships awarded by the Ulman Foundation.
To give as much money as possible to people fighting cancer, we don’t stay in hotels. Beds are overrated after biking 100 miles a day! The team will be sleeping at a mix of community centers, churches, YMCAs, schools, and some good ole’ camping. Many of our meals throughout the trip are donated as well.
I’m lucky to be in good health, and I want to help bring support and awareness to young adults fighting cancer all over the country. If you’d like to donate to my 4K For Cancer Fundraiser, I would greatly appreciate any contribution! All donations are tax deductible, and you will be supporting a great cause.
Help spread the word and share this page with your family and friends! Every dollar raised will help go towards helping someone fight cancer. If you’d like to learn more about the Ulman Foundation or the 4K For Cancer, feel free to reach out to me.
Thank you all for your support. Together, we can make a difference!
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
