I will be biking 4,000 miles all with the hopes to raise money for the Ulman Foundation. That's right, 4,000 MILES! I'll be starting in Longport, NJ on June 1st and ending my ride in San Francisco, CA on August 8th.
4k for Cancer is a 4,000-mile journey to support the Ulman Foundation. This foundation gives financial and moral support to young adults who have found themselves a victim of cancer. Those involved in both the 4k for Cancer and Ulman Foundation have cultivated a dynamic to make sure no one fights alone. Through financial scholarships and a sense of camaraderie, I am looking to reach out a hand and ease their fight. I ask friends and family to extend their hands as well.
Please help me support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
