Hello and welcome to my 2020 4K for Cancer Fundraising Page!
I’m Michelle and this summer I will be running across America with a team of runners to raise awareness, hope and money for young adults impacted by cancer. You may have just gone back to reread that last sentence but it is true...I’ll be RUNNING from the EAST coast to the WEST coast!!
Most people have a connection with cancer whether directly and/or indirectly. For me, that connection is rooted with my grandfather, great grandmother, a high school classmate, and numerous patients at work. I am doing this run in their honor and I hope to become a source of hope and strength for these courageous warriors.
For those who know me, know that if I’m not at work or studying, I’m most likely spending my time giving back to the community or traveling. The Ulman Foundation 4K for Cancer provides the perfect opportunity to do BOTH and in return allow me to dedicate all 4000 miles for those affected by cancer.
Please consider making a contribution to help me reach my goal of $4500 as well as sharing this page with your family and friends! Every dollar raised goes towards the Ulman Foundation’s incredible mission. Additionally, feel free to contact me with any questions or ask how you too can get involved!
Thank you for your support!
Together we can change the world :)
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
