For 49 days in the summer of 2020 I will be running from Baltimore to San Fransisco to raise money, awareness, and most importantly hope for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer.
This is something my family and I hold close to our hearts due to our own experiences.
As many of you know, I lost my dad to lung cancer in early December of this past year. While the road ahead holds heartbreak and tears it also holds hope and healing as I partake on this journey. I will be running every mile for my dad as I follow in his footsteps of living life and adventures.
Please help me support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
