** Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 4k for Cancer bike ride across the USA has been cancelled. I want to thank everyone who donated to my fundraising, and note that although the ride isn't happening, we've still contributed to a very worthwhile cause.
Next summer, I'm cycling 4000 miles from Baltimore to San Francisco, to raise funds and awareness for young adults with cancer. Visit 4kforcancer.org for more information about the ride!
Cancer has always had a presence in my life. Both of my grandmothers passed away from ovarian cancer, and in 2016 my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer (which she has since overcome). As a young adult who spends a lot of time considering the likelihood of a linked cancer diagnosis in my life, the Ulman Foundation's mission resonates especially clearly with me.
If you know me, you'll know that cycling across the US has long been a dream of mine. I can't think of a better, more meaningful way to make that dream happen than through 4K for Cancer. Please consider donating to the Ulman Foundation via my fundraising campaign, in order to help make this dream a reality!
** All donations made through this site will be matched 100% by my company. **
Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.
The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship.
