Glenn Lumbert 4K for Cancer 2020 Fundraising Page

Glenn Lumbert

If you have found this page you are probably wondering what the 4K is about if I have not told you yet. The 4K for cancer is a cross country bike trip, from east coast to west coast and we pedal all the way there. I will team up with a group of other young adults who share the same drive and passion for helping the young adult cancer community in fundraising spreading awareness and volunteering at various locations along our trek across the country. To do this we need people like you to help us all reach our fundraising goal on the trip of $4500.

Some stuff about me: I have participated in this program once before in on team San Diego 2016 and during that trip the people we helped and the look of hope we inspired by talking to people of each community we passed through was by far the best experience of my life, and I would be a fool not want to recreate that. Since my last trip across the country some of the people who had cancer in my family and supported me for so long have passed, I ride for them, and everyone else who is/was/or will be effected by cancer. The 4K changes lives and you can help me change lives by donating to this page or any 4K charity page you can find.

Please help me support Ulman Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Ulman Foundation's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.

Together, we can make a difference!

ULMAN FOUNDATION

Each year more than 72,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Young adults (ages 15-39) face a variety of unique challenges with a cancer diagnosis including social isolation, fertility preservation, insurance concerns, delayed diagnosis, and survivorship.

The Ulman Foundation changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, Ulman is able to provide free services and resources for the young adult cancer community through programs that focus on patient support services, housing, survivorship, and scholarship. Learn more about young adult cancer and our impact here.
